Braided Rugs

To make braided rugs one needs only the raw. No appliances are engaged, because this technique is rather complicated for machine performance. Braided rugs are mostly produced in Orient countries and Asia regions. Here rugs braiding has been a traditional craft and stays now. Braided rugs have originally been made of natural raw: wool and silk.

The fibers of these materials are braided on the base threads, which result in accumulation of shag on the face side and knots on the back side, this second is the very place, where one can apprise braided rugs value. The more quantity of knots a braided rug has a square unit, the more high its cost.

Due to this reason, the woolen braided rugs are considered as the most valuable, because thin woolen thread allows to apply the most quantity of knots. Braided rugs, certainly, belong to hand-made things and they suppose a careful handling and rather, decorative destination.
